Scorpions
Scoropions are a predatory arachnid of the order Scorpiones. They are nocturnal pests that have a strong pair of pinchers for grasping and a narrow, segmented tail with a characteristic curve over their back that ends with its stinger.
Signs of Scorpions
If you notice a lot of crickets or roaches around your home it is likely you have scorpions nearby as well. These insects are food sources for scorpions and scorpions will always go where their food source is.
Entry Points
Scorpions can enter a home or building through an opened door or window or door frames that are not properly sealed. They prefer to stay outside where they can hunt for prey but because of their strong sting homeowners prefer that they stay far from their home.
Damage & Health Concerns
A sting from a scorpion is painful but it is not necessarily life threatening. Young kids and the elderly are at the greatest risk from experiencing health issues due to a scorpion sting.
